Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton and West Ham racing for Bournemouth’s David Brooks

Liverpool champions of the Premier League are one of four top-flight sides interested in signing David Brooks from Bournemouth, reports say.

The Sun reports that for the winger, who looks almost certain to leave the relegated Cherries this summer, the Reds are eying a £35million swoop shock.

It is also believed that Tottenham, Everton and West Ham are monitoring the situation in Brooks ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

The 23-year-old, having joined Bournemouth for £12 m from Sheffield United two years ago, had an impressive maiden campaign in the Premier League.

However, a second season injury-plagued saw Brooks make only nine appearances in all as the Cherries fell through the trapdoor of relegation.

After releasing long-serving midfielder Adam Lallana, Liverpool has space for midfield reinforcements, while Xherdan Shaqiri has also been told that he is in surplus to requirements.

Furthermore, after the relegated Canaries refused to budge on their £20 m asking price, Jurgen Klopp ended his pursuit of Norwich defender Jamal Lewis.
