Man Utd reach transfer success for Real Madrid player, Reguilon, may complete signing this summer

Man Utd has recently made a big breakthrough in their quest for Real Madrid’s left back Sergio Reguilon. The club aims to secure their second transfer window signing after adding Donny van de Beek to midfielder.

Just yet, they have not signed Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, but they are linked to a surprise move for N’Golo Kante.
Real Madrid is willing to let Reguilon leave this season, without having a buy back clause, according to Spanish outlet El Desmarque (via Mirror).

For weeks, Man Utd has been related to Reguilon and is thought to be keen to negotiate a contract.

However, Real ‘s desire to have a reduced buy back option put them off. Real manager Zinedine Zidane has now cancelled the wish, meaning United is closer to beginning the talks on move.

United following injuries to current players Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams are seeking a left back.

After picking up an ankle injury in July, Shaw missed the end of the last campaign while youngster Williams is out with a foot problem.

That means Reguilon is now targeted to become a starter this season in the United side. The 23-year-old is an entertaining player who occasionally bombs up to take part in attacks.

He appeared last term in the season’s team at La Liga after some excellent loan displays in Seville. In 2019/20, Reguilon earned eight goal contributions in 38 appearances.

How much United will have to pay to carry Reguilon to Old Trafford, is not yet understood. He is currently priced at £22.5million by Transfermarkt.

If talks start in the coming weeks, Reguilon will become the second signing by United before the transfer window ends.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is seeking to improve his desire to keep up with Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea likes.
