According to sources in Italy, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to see Man Utd sign three Juventus players this summer.
Jadon Sancho is the primary summer target for Red Devils but the 10th August deadline for a Bundesliga club contract passed without any discussion or resolution whatsoever.
It has led to the possibility of several alternatives with Juventus winger Douglas Costa being heavily linked it week, while Man Utd reportedly has ‘serious’ interest in Bournemouth attacking midfielder David Brooks.
Red Devils could add a centre-back, a midfielder and a striker but Ed Woodward is still waiting to get his first contract over the line amid all the ties.
And now Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness) says Costa has been ‘inserted’ by Solskjaer into his player wishlist which he wants to bring to Old Trafford this summer.
Costa’s sale could ‘send oxygen’ to their summer budget, although the article adds that for Federico Bernardeschi, too, Juventus would ask for €40 m, with Solskjaer known to be an Italian fan.
Finally, Corriere dello Sport reports Aaron Ramsey as the third player who ‘doesn’t displease’ Solskjaer, with another article suggesting £18m (€20m) today to sign him
