Neymar and Mbappe will stay at PSG, said Al-Khelaifi following PSG’s dramatic win over Atalanta in Champions League
According to president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will live at Paris Saint-Germain.
“Ney, with Kylian, he’s one of the best players in the world. He’s in the top three,” he told RMC Sport, via L’Equipe.
The stars led PSG in the quarter-finals of the Champions League in Lisbon on Wednesday to an impressive come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Atalanta.
Contracted until 2022 at PSG, both Neymar and Mbappe were linked to moves away from the champions of the Ligue 1.
Al-Khelaifi, however, said the pair would remain at PSG as he praised their ability.
PSG left it late to conquer Atalanta behind a Mario Pasalic strike, with Marquinhos equalizing in the 90th minute before Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting netting the winner three minutes later.
“Ney was the man of the match [against Atalanta]. He had a great match. He and Kylian are not going to leave. They are going to stay.”
