Sack letter imminent for Lampard after Chelsea loses 2-0 to Leicester City

Leicester City climbed to the top of the table and, with an impressive win at The King Power Stadium, increased the pressure on struggling Chelsea manager Lampard.
The Foxes knew a victory would see them overhaul Manchester United and after just six minutes when Wilfred Ndidi fired in from 20 yards off the inside of the post, they were on their way.
Chelsea rarely threatened, but when Christian Pulisic went down under a challenge from Jonny Evans, a first-half penalty was ruled out by VAR suggesting the offence took place just outside the box area. As Leicester City broke clear to add a second four minutes before the break, it spelt more woes on Frank Lampard.

After terrible night, no signs of recovery, Chelsea manager Lampard is under growing pressure.

With Leicester closing out the win all night comfortably, this was a miserable affair by the Blues and most importantly may be Lampard’s final night at Stamford Bridge as the boss. Fingers crossed.
