Manchester City is reportedly looking to sign Lionel Messi, though Luis Suarez is not included in Barcelona’s rebuild.
Messi, 33, has been linked after a trophy-less 2019-20 season with a move away from the LaLiga giants.
Barca is planning for a reconstruction, and while Messi is part of their plans, it seems that Suarez is not.
According to ESPN, Manchester City is finding out how they should sign the Barcelona star Messi without breaking the laws of Financial Fair Play (FFP).
The report says giants in the Premier League are planning if Messi is available.
Messi has been signed in Barcelona until 2021, but was linked to a transfer.
Ronald Koeman is already planning his reconstruction at Barcelona. The team no longer desires Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal or Samuel Umtiti, informs Mundo Deportivo, but aims for Philippe Coutinho, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. Only the article says the departure of Suarez would open a move for Inter star Lautaro Martinez.
– Ansu Fati is obviously close to committing his future to Barcelona. According to Mundo Deportivo, the 17-year-old striker, who was tied to Manchester United, will sign a new contract that will contain a €400million release clause.
