Tottenham could bring Gareth Bale back this summer to north London with Jose Mourinho reportedly keen to sign the outcast Real Madrid.
Bale, the Wales hero, seems to have no future in Spain as his relationship with Zinedine Zidane, the real boss, has broken down.
As football came back from its coronavirus suspension, he hardly played for Los Blancos, and even asked to NOT be included in Madrid’s squad for their Champions League round-of-16 clash vs Man City.
The 31-year-old doesn’t form part of Zidane ‘s plans to step into next season.
There does not seem to be a lot of interest in Bale as yet, although in Spain Deportes Cuatro says that Spurs is keen on their former star.
After joining Southampton, Bale developed into a world-class talent at White Hart Lane, and remains a Lilywhite favourite.
He’s been linked to a move to north London for a long time and Spurs is back in for Bale with new boss Mourinho who is keen on signing.
Real knowing Bale will be tricky to get rid of because of his extremely high salary, but selling those players not in his 2020/21 plans is one of Zidane’s summer priorities – and the Welshman is among that group.
