We are in the seventh week of the summer transfer window of the Premier League and there are just five days until the start of the new season.

Earlier today, with Callum Wilson making the move from Championship side Bournemouth, Newcastle United announced their second big signing Fraser.

After six seasons with the Cherries, the England international joined the Magpies where he scored 67 goals in all competitions from 184 appearances.

Recently Manchester United has been linked to a possible transfer for left-back Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid. They are now reported to be interested in signing Porto defender Alex Telles, whose contract will expire next summer. The Brazilian left-back agent is said to have traveled to Manchester to hold talks with the Red Devils.

In recent games of the Nations League, Chelsea’s Ethan Ampadu inspired Wales where he played at the heart of the defence. Now it seems he may be loaned out for the season. Ampadu, who can also play as a holding midfielder, has been fancied to temporarily join Sheffield United (The Sun).
