We ‘re in the summer transfer window for the sixth week of the Premier League and it seems like Manchester United is actually on the cusp of making their first signing.
The Red Devils have reached an agreement with Ajax to buy midfielder Donny van de Beek and this week a contract worth £35.7 m plus add-ons (The Guardian) will be completed.

- Chelsea has hit the headlines on five signings this summer with a spending spree of more than £130 m. Now they have reached a contract with Bayer Leverkusen to buy Kai Havertz. With an extra £ 18 m in the form of add-ons (Goal.com) the West London giants will pay an estimated £ 72 m for the German.
