Updates about LASK Linz and Manchester United Europa Cup clash today

United remain for Thursday’s match without the long-term absentees Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Lee Grant.

LASK may be obscure opposition in many respects, but they are well known to United fan favorite Fernandes, who scored and assisted in the group stage against the Austrian outfit for Sporting Lisbon.

Much like Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood, McTominay, Ighalo and Eric Bailly were both second-half replacements against Man City at the weekend and will press for inclusion here.

No team has had more goalscorers than United in the Europa League this season, with Fred, Fernandes and McTominay all on the scoresheet in last month ‘s victory over Brugge.

Without suspended center-back pairing Petar Filipovic and Philipp Wiesinger, LASK will be forced into a defense reshuffle.

Injury will also make Marvin Potzmann and Husein Balic miss out on the first leg.

Possible start lineup LASK Linz:
Schlager; Trauner, Ramsebner, Wostry; Frieser, Goiginger; Ranflt, Holland, Michorl, Renner; Raguz

A potential starting lineup for Manchester United:
Romero; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Matic, McTominay; Fernandes; Ighalo and Martial
