What is Jack Grealish’s future at Aston Villa?

Grealish scored a crucial goal on the final day of the season to help Villa draw 1-1 with West Ham to retain Premier League status at the club and relegate Bournemouth and Watford.
For the Villa captain, who racked up eight goals and a further six assists in 36 Premier League appearances throughout 2019/20, that capped off a fine first season back into the top flight.

Such a form eventually led Grealish to step away from Villa Park with a big income, with Manchester United and Arsenal being credited with a midfielder interest.

Earlier in his career Gestede played alongside Grealish at Villa Park for a season-and-a-half and said the skills of the 24-year-old were laudable.

Talking exclusively to talkSPORT, Gestede said: “While I was there he was a talented guy. He was a young player with a lot of promise and has proven over the last couple of seasons that he has got the shoulders to bear it.

“Now he’s the team’s captain and he has a little more pressure and he’s done it very well.

“He deserves being at the spotlight. He ‘s possibly worth a call from England very early.
